This month has been a study in all three of these topics both in design and style. I have been noticing it when shopping, within my own home with the accessories that I move around with the start of warm weather coming back, and with the inspiration images I am researching.
The question of how much is too much is what I have been working on nailing down for my own self. To that I have no decided but what I have made up my mind on is that life is too short to not add a little something extra in. In the past I have been pulled into minimal and sleek but part of me thinks that living here in the south for almost 5 years now has weighed on my palette. I don’t think I am or will be a 100% pattern person but in the right moment it can be fun and unexpected, that is what I like about it.
Heres to a season on feminine details, leaning into historical patterns but in a new way, and mixing it up.
